Sepastian Lepine & Arturo Nieto-Dornates
Sepastian Lepine & Arturo Nieto-DornatesRomantic Sonatas

Sebastien Lépine studied the cello at the Conservatoire de musique de Trois-Rivières and pursued his studies at the Indiana University with grand master Janos Starker. He has instigated many musical projects and has namely performed at the Colours of Music festival, the Niagara International Chamber Music Festival, the Mexico National Arts Centre, and in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. He has also received major awards recognizing the quality and originality of his projects.

Considered "the best Mexican young pianist" of his generation, Arturo Nieto-Dorantes studied at the Mexico's National Conservatory of Music, the Conservatoire Supérieur de Paris and at the Indiana University School of Music, under the famous Hungarian György Sebök. He has been winner of many national and international competitions (Claude Khan, Arthur Rubinstein) and holds a piano and chamber music professorship at the Université Laval Music Faculty.

Both very eloquent, they have developed a great complicity which makes each concert a magic moment. They recently recorded a major work of Canadian composer Jean Coulthard, Mexican composer Manuel Ponce, and also the renown sonata by Sergeï Rachmaninoff.
