Presenters, and those working in the arts, have a huge impact on their communities and those within it. As we make decisions for our organizations, venues, festivals and daily life we are all influenced by unconscious bias. Depending on ones background these biases will impact each of us differently. By understanding what unconscious bias is, and breaking down misinformation, we are better equipped to manage our own unconscious bias and the way it affects our organizations and work environments.
Some key components of this session may include and go beyond:

Describe what unconscious bias is and how it operates in both individuals and in organizations; Identify filters and patterns of unconscious bias;
