Quartetto Gelato

For over 30 years, Quartetto Gelato has enchanted audiences with surprising programs which include classical, Cab Calloway, tangos, klezmer, blazing Roma dances and much more. Named PBS’s “Best New Artist of the Year’, widespread touring has taken Quartetto Gelato to  Korea, Japan, the US, China, the U.K., Italy, Russia and the Bahamas, and all over North America. 11 acclaimed recordings and inclusion on the soundtrack of Norman Jewison’s “Only You” (with Marisa Tomei & Robert Downey Jr.) brought them national fame, and when Canadian astronaut Robert Thirsk chose their CD’s for his NASA flight on the space shuttle Columbia, they were literally heard around the world!
