Tina Leon
Tina Leon, born Marie-Christine Depestre, is a Montreal-based singer-songwriter whose sound blends soul, Motown influences, and contemporary jazz, funk, and pop. Trained in music from an early age, she gained significant stage experience through her work with the Generation Motown musical revue.
Released on Ensoul Records, her EPs PUSH (2022) and PULL (2023) led to the release of her debut full-length album, Push & Pull (2025), which brings together highlights from both EPs along with new material, including a striking cover of Sade’s Love Is Stronger Than Pride. Since winter 2024, Tina Leon has performed over 40 concerts across Quebec and appeared at major showcases and festivals.
In 2023, she joined the Résonances agency for booking and show production. Following a successful first tour of British Columbia in summer 2025, she will return in March 2026, including a performance at the iconic Frankie’s Jazz Club in Vancouver, further solidifying her growing national presence.
